Only one more week in October and seriously so much to do. But I love doing a little recap on things just to ease myself into the weekend.
Today things are a bit different, as I’m keeping each category to only one item.
E-Course
For those of you that are diligent readers of this blog, I’ve been kicking around the idea of doing an e-course on the Adobe Suite and how I use it for blogging and designing purposes. I would be curious to know the interest level on a product like that. Comment below with your thoughts.
Current Obsession
On a less serious note, I’ve totally become absorbed with the Outlander series. I’m reading the book and watching the show together (read just far enough to watch the next episode kind of deal) and I have to say that the show does an amazing job at capturing the book. Highly recommend.
And I mean just look at Jamie. If he doesn’t make you want to watch the show, I don’t know what will.
But in all honesty, I already love Scotland and this show has served as a way for me to relive all my favorite places. It wasn’t long ago that Mike and I were hiking around the highlands ourselves. Though I think Mike only agrees to watch it with me because he’s interested in the history of the country. His opinions on Claire’s relationship are less than enthusiastic.
To Buy
For some reason I’m getting antsy to buy another camera lens. I have three so far, but not one with an f-stop as open as 1.8 like this one.
If you are unfamiliar with what an f-stop does, it lets in a ton of light, and allows you to blur out the background quite nicely without zooming in on your subject.
Though I’m not quite ready to fork over a couple hundred dollars for it, but it’s still on my to buy list.
Bought
These jeans are everything. I LOVE the high waist on them and they have the perfect stretch that they never get baggy as I wear them. They certainly live up to their ‘twig’ name.
Though I must admit I felt a little bit like Harry Styles wearing these (he’s almost always wears black distressed skinny jeans) but they are too comfortable for me to care.
They also seem to be selling fast, as my UO store only had two pairs left.
Inspiration
While working on a new pottery website for my father, I came across the Tortus Copenhagen.
His instagram videos are mesmerizing, and I love the design of his website and his photography. And trust me, professionals always make their craft look easy, but I can tell you first hand that throwing on the wheel is not as relaxing as it may look.
This weekend we are taking it easy. I have a photoshoot planned for a senior in high school, but otherwise I have nothing on my agenda. It’s nice to have a break sometimes and just spend some time together without running off in a million directions.
See you all Monday!
