Today I’m showing off one of my favorite outfits that I wear to work. As a teacher, it’s not always easy to find an outfit that you can move around in all day, wrangling in children and what not, and still look stylish. But I think this pants and shoes combo might do the trick.
I think I may end up doing an entire post on how to dress for work, so stay tuned for that.
As the weather has warmed up here, Radley and I have started a daily ritual of walking around where we live each afternoon. We also have some favorite dog friendly restaurants that we love to hit up on warm nights. He loves getting out of the house and I’m more than happy to take him along on adventures.
We’ve been celebrating a lot this week, so I was able to wear this outfit to work and out that evening with Mike for a little dinner celebration. I have a rule to wear clothes to work that I would wear just on a day off, because I’m usually all over the place in the evenings and don’t like to change into a second outfit.
This style of pant is one of my favorites to wear to work, since we can’t wear jeans. They have just enough stretch to them that they keep their tailored fit and are super comfortable, and you guys know by now that I’m all about comfort.
I bought them in several different colors and I love to mix and match the fun patterns with items from my closet.
Also, can we just appreciate Radley’s face in this picture. Haha, he was a little weirded out by the camera at first. More walking, less picture taking, mom.
