How in the world is September already over?! I honestly can’t believe it. I feel like just yesterday we were planning what to do for Mike’s birthday and yet that was almost a month ago! Of course we were super busy this month. We had something going on every weekend.
Little personal recap for the month:
►Celebrated Mike’s birthday at White Lake
►Attended Hopscotch Music Festival, which I swear gets better every year. Plus this year we could walk everywhere since we live downtown now!
►Went to a screening of My Neighbor Totoro over in Durham. I had never seen it since it’s not my usual choice of movie, but it’s so cute!
►Drove back to the Appalachian mountains for Mountain Heritage Day and to see family.
►Enjoyed the rain and the weather as it’s started to cool down!
I’m so also so proud of how this little blog is doing! These past two months I’ve really made this blog a priority and it’s great to see it all come together. I also love hearing from you all and getting to know some of my readers. This little journey is just getting better and better.
And of course, with the end of a month comes… A NEW THEME!
Without holding you up any longer, I’m so proud to present my newest WordPress theme, Bristol.
It’s a little different than what I’ve been seeing out there, and when I create a theme I also make one that I would want to use.

Bristol is a child theme of the Genesis Framework (which is currently on sale for 25% off, so grab it now if you don’t have it already!). It’s fully responsive for desktop and all mobile devices. All widget areas are fully optional and can be customized to your needs. All pages are full width and all posts show a sidebar.
I’ll see you all in October!
